The melody is interrupted on several occasions by gnats and flies. It consists of 4 phrases:

First phrase (measures 175 - 176) in G minor:

Second phrase (measures 179 - 182) modulates to Bb major:

Third phrase (measures 184 - 190), starts in Bb major and return to G minor:

Fourth phrase (measures 191 - 196) in G minor:
