Material from measures 43 to 46 (E major) is repeated in measures 47 to 51 one tone higher (F# major):

• Measure 51 is repeated in measures 52 and 53 half-step lower each time.
• In measure 54, the D major chord leads to a E flat major augmented sixth chord.

E flat is used as A flat's dominant. The final measures use A flat major tonic and dominant chords:
