Major Triads

A letter by itself means a major chord:

Minor Triads

For minor chords we add m (lower case), min or the symbol -:

Cm


Diminished Triads

Add dim or the symbol o :

Cdim


Augmented Triads

Add aug or #5 or +

Caug


Inversions

Use a slash followed by the bass note to be used to indicate an inversion:
