Structure and musical texture

From the texture of arpeggios in triplets, a melodic line with a harmonic accompaniment in two voices emerges. The three voices form an interesting rhythmic counterpoint. The following image shows these aspects in the first measure. We transcribe the upper voice on the first staff and the bass and the internal voice on the lower staff:
