Fifth variation

A fifth variation follows in measures 20 to 23:

A secondary dominant is used before a IV degree.

The IV degree chord with major seventh is followed by a secondary diminished chord of the V degree.

The expected dominant is substituted for a vii degree chord of C minor. The final tonic chord is eliminated.
